It's all about POWER...
If they can win the next election and remain in power, it doesn't matter if laws were broken or if the Constitution was torn to shreds. All that matters is that the taxcuts keep coming. All that matters is that their friends in the corporations have no burdens to keep them from maximizing their profits. All that matters is that they be comfortable in their positions. To hell with the people.

1. It's all about power with everybody.
It's the exercise of that power that differs.

3. Republicans have no intention on loosing the 06 election.
They have worked very hard to get e-voting machines placed in enough precincts to insure a small victory come November 06.

They know they must remain in power, the RNC have bet their future on this election IMHO.

4. What Worries Me Is That With All the Repug Scandals They......
might get desperate and do something stupid in order to hold their power.

I dunno - like another 9/11 type event. Nuke Iran. etc.

5. Worries me as well, they have to get these stories out of the headlines.
I was thinking, if bush has been spying on the evildoers, then he should know ahead of time about an attack, and be able to stop it!

So that takes the possibilities of the attack in the US, so that only leaves Iran. In theory!!

6. That's The Double Edged Sword *Co Is Living In......
they been saying that they've prevented other 9/11 like attacks by doing what they are doing. If they have to pull a 9/11 type attack it works against them. Dems would say - all that they are doing isn't working. That they failed.

You can't have it both ways. And they've been using 9/11 and post 9/11 very effectively to push their agenda.

Who knows what they would do and that is the basis of my fears.
