Freepers and other * sycophants, how do you stop
Edited on Tue Feb-07-06 12:46 PM by Skidmore
a person from thinking and believing something different than you? You can beat, molest, torture, kill, set up free speech zones hundred of miles in diameter and it won't make a bit of difference. You will not be able to make people who don't already believe in what you do think differently. There will always be someone, who even though they say what you want them to say under duress will think the opposite. Did you not learn anything from the Soviet Union? Freedom and democracy is about diversity of thought and beliefs. Why do you think that making a version of the Soviet authoritarian system and labeling it "democracy" makes it different? It doesn't. Stalin would be proud.

1. I must be channeling
you today. I was so distressed this morning that my thoughts while working took me to this point and I decided that it really does not matter. Even if they had everything and everyone they way they wanted they would just find something or someone else to fight.

It is in our nature to be distrustful of things that are different. Some of us chose not to rise above our basest instincts and this is why we are at this point. They are being encouraged to act out like this. With Reagan it was OK of you were this way, now it is to be commended.

I am not a happy person today.

2. They're troubled because it's against the law to kill people
(stupid law goes against their 2nd amendment rights) . . . they're not troubled by the fact that the Bible says not to kill - you can kill all those who don't think like you . . . it's just that they will be punished by Man . . .

Ergo, when they can't convert somebody, they have to find a way to do it without witnesses . . . ya kno, "suicided" . . .

3. I think they are working toward an excuse to make certain
it is legally okay to kill anyone who thinks differently than them. What was all that fifth column stuff yesterday that the Judicial Committee Rs were chewing around the edges of?

4. Easy. Kill us all.
That is what they most want, a class war in which the streets run red with our blood.

'Stalinists' - Bringing forth an authoritarian government that would make Stalin proud.
