So who else thinks RW media will compare the King and Wellstone services?
Edited on Tue Feb-07-06 02:56 PM by Richardo
I don't have access to TV right now, and can't watch it, but based on the comments I'm reading here I wish I could.

But if Bush is taking it on the chin from all them 'liberals'; what can FOX, CNN, MSNBC and all the rest do except bemoan how the digified service was turned into a political rally?

Don't get me wrong, I don't disagree with it, but shall we have a pool on how long it takes for that Rovian talking point gets out there?

I say 14 nanoseconds.

Don't you know you're supposed to use the Secret Chamber Forum for such discussion. Stop giving them ideas!

3. The media doesn't care about it.
The same thing happened at Rosa Parks' service. There reall wasn't much in the press about the funeral, beyond some pictures and a few docile mentions. Sigh!

5. No doubt about it
All the learned right wing zealots will be discussing the shame and making it a political event. Would one just mention who the real patriots and statesmen and orators were at the funeral? No, because the right wing likes ignorant, alcoholic, military deserting corporate criminals in the white house. No doubt, they'll go low on their dissecting of the event.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING was as ugly or as expensive as the excess the right wing lavished on the moron reagan. His funeral was an abomination and an insult to American Taxpayers.

7. If they try it, it'll backfire
Sometimes black funerals are more 'lively.' They try that, it'll paint them for the racists that they are.

And besides, people are FED UP with Bush. I hope people are fatigued enough and angry enough with the state of our country to not care what that criminal Rove says.

11. It was kind of a public spanking wasn't it?
But you know, politicians are not royalty. They are used to it and they should be able to handle it.

14. Put they said it was different because the Kings would
have welcomed political comments because of the place they had in their lives. So, the Wellstones weren't political? Another stupid comment
