38. Shame on him, indeed speedo!
I have NO respect for that man AT ALL! Katrina victims saw more respect from a Canadian woman, Celine Dion who wept, no sobbed for the people of Katrina. How Bishop Jakes, who has the same complexion of many of the victims and survivors could do such a thing is incomprehensible to me.

36. He allows himself to be used by shrub. During the Katrina mess
he was trotting about with shrub, as some sort of public relations thing. He should be ashamed. His people were drowning and dying in the flood water, and he was running around with that clown, trying to make him look like he doesn't hate black people.

Upon the passing of Coretta Scott King

From: Dr. Robert H. Schuller - Founding Pastor of the Crystal Cathedral, Garden Grove, Calif.
Dr. Robert H. Schuller & Coretta Scott King

Dr. Robert H. Schuller & Coretta Scott King
April 2005

Coretta Scott King was a dear friend of our ministry as well as a beloved and admired citizen of our great nation. In fact, we could rightly say that America is greater today for millions of persons because of her and the legacy she leaves behind.

Her last public interview was here in the Crystal Cathedral on Sunday, April 10, 2005. In my interview with her, Mrs. King humbly reminded the congregation and millions of TV viewers that she felt it was God’s calling for her to be the wife of a pastor who followed the teachings of Jesus Christ.

“I always believed, from a youngster, that there was a purpose for my life and that there’s a purpose for each one of our lives. We have to seek that purpose,” said Mrs. King. “My faith was continually increased as I thought about what my purpose was.”

After the tragic assassination of her husband, Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., Mrs. King devoted her entire self and life to perpetuating their shared passion to create profound social change through non-violent means. She was, and remains, a beacon of hope.

Though we have now lost her physical presence among us, the positive spirit of the hope she generated for oppressed persons everywhere will continue to light a bright and brilliant path for yet unborn generations. She is truly a significant chapter in the history of human dignity and freedom.
