Randi Rhode's Change for Change campaign
For anybody not listening to Randi today she just announced that she is going to try and raise $50,000 to buy someone in New Orleans a new house from habitat for humanity.

She's asking all her listners to save all their spare change for 6 months and donate it to her Change for Change campaign.

Excellent idea Randi!!!!

1. I agree.
I was touched by her suggestion. I have a huge piggy bank I have been stuffing change in for the last 3 years to buy myself a nice pair of chinks. I think this is a much better place for that money to go. Now, I need to find the closest affiliate and pack this sucker up because it is almost full.

3. Somebody needs to come up with some nice banner graphic for this.
Then we can get it placed on various sites.

9. It sure does
I have a bad habit of paying for items in stores and never using the change in my pockets or in my handbag. I put it in a jar and then take it to the bank every couple of months. It's usually $100 or so. I'm totally down with donating a potential $300+ to Katrina survivors. :)
