George Washington's little-known surveillance methods... |
|
1. Diverting carrier pigeons. 2. Using spyglass to chart the movements of the feathers at the top of quill pens. 3. Checking hem of Betsy Ross's petticoat for covert correspondence.
Any historians out there who know of other nefarious surveillance circa 1776?

I'm thinking we have a really bad "Wild Wild West"-"Van Helsing"-"League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" type script in the works here.
All it needs is some Masonic/Hellfire Club stuff & a Davanci Code tie-in.

He was wired half the time.
He spied on congress through a peephole in the lady's restroom.
He made several trips to Virginia like Bush has done.

George Washington went home to Virginia. George Bush went to Langley Va. to spook the spooks and warn them against blowing the whistle on his domestic spy program. Anyone who believes Bush wasn't spying on anyone he wanted too is a damned fool. I'll bet you anything he has even spied on Arlen Specter. The repukes started not to throw their support behind Mr. Specter, because he bitched about parts of the Patriot act! Why wouldn't Bush have spied on him? Shrub had to keep all his little ducks in a row.
