A universe where Gore is President and Elvis is still alive |
|
The Science Channel is running a show about parallel universes, and how many scientists are taking the idea very seriously now. That everything that can happen does happen in one of the infinite universes. One of the examples they gave was that in one universe Gore is President and Elvis is still alive (although according to parallel universe theory, there would be an equally infinite number of these universes also, not just one).
If only I could figure out how to switch places with one of my counterparts in that universe ;)

|
Mr.Gore in 2008 and that's what we should do.

That's exactly what my books are based on...
I'm a believer in the "many worlds" theory, personally.

3. Somewhere In The Multiverse Is A Place |
|
Somewhere in the multiverse is a place where George Walker Bush irredeemably politically disgraced himself while he was drinking, the Fairness Doctrine is still in place and has teeth, poor Jimmy Carter had had the good sense to evacuate the Iranian embassy back in 1978, Lee Atwater had chosen to enter a seminary and become an inner-city preacher, Ronald Reagan never become President, and the Soviet Union still peacefully fell apart.
