Very interesting comments from freepersville in 2002 about Mrs. King
I don't go there, but was looking for something else and I found this. This is from when Mrs. King argued the war in 2002. Here are some comments made by most likely the same people who are whining about how "disrespectful" it was today for some speakers to speak out. How did they all of a sudden find some respect?

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/794788/posts

"Coretta is "dreaming" if she thinks one American gives a damn what she is saying about the war on Iraq. Let me go ask Snoopy what he thinks and let me get back to you."

"Yawn. She's almost completely irrelevant."

"Well, nobody cares what you think. You aren't MLK and stop trying to think you are."

"Hell. She's rich but STILL dumb. She still doesn't know he was doin' only white women while on the road and very late on ever Sunday."

"And Coretta Scott King is relevent how?????"

"The widow King and her children are a national disgrace."

"Why should anyone give a crap what Coretta King has to say about Iraq? Shut up already! Your 15 minutes have long since passed."

There is more. I just found it interesting that so many of them are "up in arms" that anyone would say something against georgie at her funeral. By the looks of their comments, they shouldn't give a shit what people said there.

7. That would be great..lol
It's almost worth signing up. I didn't read what they are saying today, but I would guess that it is how disrespectful the libs are to a wonderful woman like Mrs. King. :eyes:

I'm so underwhelmed with their intelligence and wit. :eyes:

9. My favorite post from that thread
She says an attack on Saddam Hussein would increase anti-American sentiment, create more terrorists and drain as much as 200 billion taxpayer dollars that she says should be invested in America.

The civil rights leader and widow of Martin Luther King Junior says homeland security ought to be "more about providing health care for every citizen,

I sure wish she would get back to reality ..

13. That's better reporting than we get on Commercial Media.
We should thank that Freeper for reporting Mrs. Kings insight. I do think the 200 billion price tag was a little low.

19. Yeah but I can't fault her for that. I think Paul O'Neil had
predicted it would cost 60B min and could go as high as 200B. I believe he was going on their "predictions" that war would last 5 months tops (probably the 60B figure) and that we would be out of there in 2 years. Of course O'Neil got fired for contradicting what the WH had officially said the war would cost (which was something like $3.75 I believe). It has been subsequently shown that O'Neil was correct (as far as his initial estimates were concerned) so naturally his firing was completely justified. :sarcasm:

11. That's DAMN good detective work. But if you "faced" them with it,
they'd just find some way to try to weasel out. Losers that they are.

It's such a shame that there's no way to post this kind of stuff on their website where they HAVE to see it.

18. Good point. Their obsession with us does mean that they'll see it;
it's just a crying same that they'll not use the citations to re-examine the way they think.

It would be unreasonable to expect that from them, wouldn't it?

16. The Freeps got a glimpse of reality and its unhinged them
MLK and Coretta are deeply loved and revered by the vast majority of our citizens. Coretta was a role model for all.

The Christ we worship is the "Prince of Peace".

Bill Clinton is also loved and adored.

Most Americans think W is an empty suited war mongeror.
