Why hasn't C-span posted ...
Afternoon session of the Gonzo domestic spying hearings
or
Coretta Scott King funeral (the greatest thing on the media in 2006 so far)

If this has already been covered on DU, my apologies. And if you can (please,) post up the link.

It distresses me when there are lags in time of posting up so crucial hearings because the only other way people can get them is if they subscribe to cable..and lots of people don't have the MONEY to subscribe to cable TV.

Is C-Span radio available on the free airwaves? I haven't found a station yet...please enlighten me if you know how to listen to C-span while driving the car. I will truly appreciate that.

Thank you -

1. If you look at video/audion on Cspan's front page, then
click on recent programs, you can find the afternoon hearing about halfway down.

No idea why that's not on their front page.

Good to see you here, selmo7.

2. yeeshus!
Thank you Suffragette,

Ahh I found it...it's not on their front page -thanks.

hmmmm wonder why <snicker>

also the Coretta Scott King funeral. This is a must see for everyone imo.

Thank you again - I was in DC this weekend at the World Can't Wait rally with my cousin who called me and I said hey yes of course! It was a good experience - Granny D and the students at Georgetown who turned their backs on Gonzales. That student and their story was beautiful/remarkable - in terms of the Constitution.

When the rain really began falling, it was contentuous. The power went out. The organizers wanted to bring on 6 more speakers. The crowd shouted back - "Start the march." Who were those organizers? They didn't seem to get it at first and I feared I was again in whoozeemeeewaatcheeterritory. Fortunately, to their bright light, they got it..and we started marching...

and we marched to the White House. And the statement was: "Bush Step Down."

At our hotel later, I met a US military officer (can't recall branch) who served in the Korean War and eventually got talking to him..He said he thought the war was WRONG and the Bushco had it planned already. He TOO had attended the march. That was cool.

Met a DC policman who was helpful to us - he said he was praying for rain. But ahhhh we could see in his eyes..yes...something wsa turning inside him....
