Black people are appalled by the politicization of the funeral
I came to this conclusion after listening to a couple of hours of Bill Bennett's and Laura Ingraham's radio programs this morning.

Black people are calling in an expressing their outrage.

A black woman who says she was named after Coretta Scott King just said if there's anyone who represents what Martin Luther King stood for, it's George W. Bush. I kid you not.

36. An interesting variation of a phone campaign...
by Poppy Bush when the GOP paid real Jamaicans to call Democrats and say their names were Sophie or Ruben Goldberg (or something equally Jewish) and they supported the GOP. The laughter in response was deafening.

MLK after all wanted blacks and whites to be equal and so does W...

There's just sort of a difference in motive when it's W seeking the equality...

Bushit WANTS US ALL TO BE POOR SO HE CAN ROB US AND F US OVER EQUALLY!

See how that works?

17. I highly doubt that
If that were the case, then why the two-minute standing ovation at the funeral?

I suspect RW trickery. The polls consistently show that only 2% of the Black population side with Bush. And THAT is well within the margin for error!

Bush's blatant racism is one of the many reasons I hate him.

18. The 2% who support Bush
Never mind the African Americans among the 10,000 in attendance who applauded, the even planners who made the funeral a celebration of King's life's work and a reminder that Bush is taking the country backward.

What a tool the MSM is.

there are a handful of black callers that call in whenever there's a race issue, and spin it so that the republicans are the ones who truly care about blacks, and the dems are racists.

that wasn't supposed to get aired. It hadn't been submitted to the networks for approval.

Please remove that from your memory and replace with the talking points that the Bush criticism is universally condemned, by blacks and whites alike, especially since it happened in the House of God.

They could care less about Coretta Scott King, hell they probably didn't even like her. These RW hosts are troublemakers, they are trying to stir up a big racial fight to take attention on Bush's train wreck. And I really resent anyone saying that George W. Bush represents MLK, it's an insult. MLK wasn't a liar and Bush wants to destroy all his progress. These people get on my nerves.
