DeLay to be appointed to Appropriations subcomitee over Space Programs!
DeLay hopes to ride a rocket to ’06 victory
By Roxana Tiron

In a move that could help his reelection campaign, former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-Texas) is expected to be appointed to an Appropriations subcommittee today that has jurisdiction over spending for space programs.

As of press time yesterday, a source said DeLay would reclaim his spot on the Appropriations Committee while taking seats on one subcommittee dealing with homeland security and another that funds NASA.

6. The story is that NASA is in his district, so he figures it will benefit
HIM! Some reporter from "The Hill" reported that on cspan this AM.

I guess I could see the employees of NASA voting for him for that reason, but I doubt it will matter to all the rest of the voters in his district!

That same reporter also said that DeLay is in a very tight race in Tx. I sure hope that's right, and that the little weasel loses!
