ACTION- Ask YOUR Senator to do Podcast/MP3s of their floor speeches

I was just looking at Senator Feingold's site and he has, very prominently, the MP3 of the floor speech he gave yesterday (as well as the transcript) in which he said Congress has lost its way. He also has video on the site of his questioning of Gonzo.

I've seen before that Obama also does podcasts.

Suggesting that EVERY ONE of our Senators and House reps ought to take the easy step of recording what they say, at the very least in MP3, so that their consitutuency can hear what they say on any given issue. If they're talking anyway, and someone from their office is watching them on tv or on Cspan on the internet, they can RECORD it.

TELL them. The Corporate Media is NOT going to play this stuff. WE CAN DISTRIBUTE IT, though, and LINK to their MP3's or videos EVERY TIME THEY SPEAK.

3. I hope to say He's My President someday. Can you play other MP3's?

If not, then it might be that you have to configure your player to run it. I don't recall exactly but I think I had to tell Media player that I wanted it to play Mp3s.

4. Ah, Media Player may be the problem. I can play most MP3s inline...

...in a QuickTime window. I can then save them to my hard drive for uploading to my iPod. If I need to copy the URL to Media Player, I can do that manually, but I doubt I'll be able to save it to my iPod.

I also hope to say "He's Our President" someday soon. We're the sharing sort here in Cheeseland.
