CapitalHillBlue ready for revolution-"Time to impeach the son of a bitch"
I’ve always felt impeachment is the nuclear option of politics; a drastic action we call in after all else fails. That’s why I’ve been reluctant to call for the impeachment of President George W. Bush.

No longer. The reckless, arrogant actions of the man leave me with no choice but to consider that final solution.

Time to impeach the son of a bitch...

Let’s start the New Year by impeaching the criminal at the top of this corrupt pyramid scheme and then work our way down through the sordid pile. Indict Vice President Dick Cheney for bribes he paid and the money he laundered while Chairman of Halliburton. Send Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist to prison for insider trading. Put former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay under the jail.

Time to send a message to the cabal of greed and corruption that has taken over our government and tell them that their ass is grass and we’ve got a bunch of lawn mowers fully gassed and ready to start cutting.

1. Doug Thompson is an interesting read...
Almost like BatBoy in the Weekly World News.

Really, though, Doug at least says what he wants.

3. That's true. Totally detatched from reality (to the point he has
to make it up at times)...but entertaining to say the least.

10. What have you seen him
make up? I mean, I know sometimes his sources are dodgy but do have any examples of things just being made up?

11. Nothing solid, I admit. I firmly believe the crap he attacked Clinton
with in the 90's was made up.

22. he slaps people when they deserve it and he's really not totally
partisan. he's apologized for being with the right earlier in his career. Who else has besides him and David? He's been right each time, ahead of the curve with the other numbnuts in the media. I read him to see what is going to come out eventually by others.

14. Well, I Gotta Tell Ya...
... it sounds pretty close to what I hear from everyone I bang-into, whether they're strangers at the checkout counters, to neighbors, and all ages, creeds, political parties, you name it. It's either "It's Time to impeach the son of a bitch," to "I wish they'd impeach the son of a bitch."

When you hear it from little ole' ladies mouths all I can say is it's something else.

5. This is where I'm at, too.
"I’m not sure we can wait for the electorate to take action because the electorate has been pretty damn dumb and stupid for too long and given us too many miscreants living in the White House and wandering the halls of Congress."

16. He regularly tells fantastic tales with no documentation or named sources.
And he was, up until a year or so ago, a regular poster at Free Republic. He tells the kinds of stories we on the Left desperately want to believe but he can't back up any of it. In my book, it's highly probable that he's a shill, trying to lure us into running with false information that will discredit us--a classic Rovian game.

17. Interesting take...
Like I said, I don't know enough, but it is definitely Rovian to put out disinformation. I didn't know he was a freeper. Could also be that he is a recovering troll. But I get what you mean.

20. He had sources for the Clinton stuff though and look what happened
in the end! Monica! He just reported what all those women were saying. I love Clinton but I don't doubt he screwed around more than with Monica. Doug Thompson is an independent reporter and goes after both sides. I would rather have an independent reporter who goes after the truth than a liberal reporter who leaves corrupt Democrats alone.

People dog him but time and time again his stories pan out. Even a few skeptics here on DU are starting to warm up to him now. Especially after he seemed to nail the spy-gate scandal before it broke.

I think Doug Thompson has one hell of a lot of Republican friends who feed him all kinds of stuff.

21. If he gave named sources Bush would have them all fired
Many, many, many news organizations don't use named sources thats how they survive. Having been a Republican for years Thompson has a huge list of insiders who feed him stuff constantly. I did a bunch of google research on him a while back and found him credible but to be taken with a grain of salt like most news orginizations. Almost everything Doug Thompson breaks ends up getting traction with other news companies later on, from Bush's ranting to spy-gate. Here on DU a few big time skeptics of Thompson like Walt Star have now come to believe he is legit especially after he nailed some things that pointed toward spy-gate.

People rip on him for his going after Clinton on sex scandals but look what happened in the end!!!! Monica!

25. Even a disinfo outlet needs credibility
If it wouldn't have credibility then no-one would believe the disinfo, which would defeat the purpose of the outlet.
The way to get credibility is to publicize truthful stories.

I'm not saying that CHB is a disinfo outlet, but the fact that it publicizes credible stories does not prove that it is not a disinfo outlet.

9. with a republican house and senate it would be impossible unless a lot
of republicans got fed up and joined the chorus. But we should keep pointing out that he deserves impeachment except that the republicans would never go for it.
