Why can't people see this? "The President must have absolute power until the war on terra is over." YOU CAN'T WIN A WAR ON AN IDEA!!! The only sure way to rid the world of terrorism would be to nuke everone on the planet, which seems to be Bush's goal anyway. Terrorism will ALWAYS be around, and in turn, the war on terra will never end. If they want * to be in control until a neverending war is over, he has essentially been crowned emperor for life. Why can't Americans see this?

They don't see it because they can't handle reality. They cannot deal with it emotionally,if reality is not reflecting what they are conditioned to think it is or must be. Certain personalities get a feeling of security and stability in playing make believe with themselves,like they have control over their lives..Make believe for some people wards off painful cognitive dissonance that some rigid personalties and true believer types that use their worldviews to defend against personal cognitive dissonance and personality disintegration.Problem is they project their own heads onto the political arena and this endangers us all. And the sociopaths who seek power take full advantage of this problem of some peoples need for fantasy.
