Ghost In The Shell SAC, you might be interested in this..
GITS is a veyr popular anime series about androids and Matrix like networking stuff. And a VERY interesting part of the plot for the second season is how the US is portrayed--get ready, as the American Empire :wow: Apparently the US breaksup into 3 countries during WW3--the Russo American alliance (west coast), American Empire (Jebusland no doubt!), and then the remaining USA (NE maybe?) And from what I've been to peek at for later on in the second season..the American Empire dispatchs a naval fleet to "solve" the problem of Japan actually having a nuclear weapon--why does sound so familar? :nuke:

1. Hmm, I didn't know that.
But the 2nd feature movie is the best anime I've ever seen.

GITS is good stuff. The TV show is a bit odd, but that's anime...

5. I Love That Show
And the whole series has *a lot* of things for Americans to ponder. I would highly recommend it. Don't be scared away by the fact that it's animation. Japanese anime can be for any age group. And the animators in Japan are amazing. Their work is even admired by US animators.
