Need Phone # for Air America-HATE Doctor's Dental Nightguard commercial!!! |
|
Edited on Wed Feb-08-06 02:07 PM by shireen
Does anyone have the AAR phone number, not the call-in line, the one for the corporate office?
I want to call the marketing department and tell them to STOP AIRING THAT F*CKIN' Doctor's Dental Nightguard commercial with the sickening teeth-grinding sounds! It's like listening to fingernails scratching across the blackboard and it makes me CRAZY!!!! I've emailed AAR and that ridiculous company airing the ads, promising them that I'll never buy those products as long as they air that commercial.
I called the customer service number for Dental Concepts (www.dentalconcepts.com) and asked for the number for the marketing department. I was given 914-524-6800 and told to ask for Bob Storks at ext. 2819.
If you're as pissed off as I am, please say something to them!!! Teeth grinding in itself is bad enough. Do we have to listen to those exaggerated grinding sounds as well? I will never buy that product or any other product they make as long as they air it!

3. I wear headphones at work, so those commercials are |
|
especially grating. I pull off my headphones every time they are aired. The person who designed those commercials does not have any advertising experience.

5. Dude, they paid for the advertising time... |
|
...they are helping AAR stay afloat, so what's your grip? Just turn down the volume for 30 seconds.
Commercials are supposed to be annoying.

None of the others bother me, but if you've ever slept with a tooth-grinder. These are torture.

My husband grinds his teeth and that's bad enough to listen to. The new commercial is even worse with the voice over saying they are going to continue with the grinding noises until someone buys one of the night guards.

Maybe you should complain to the company that makes the night guard. They have the right to run their ads, but they might be inclined to change them if enough customers call up and complain about the annoying ad. AAR is not the party at fault here.

first by email, and i got so mad today i tracked down the moron responsible for the commercial (see my original post for contact info) and left him a polite but irate phone mail message.
Please please please ... call him and tell him how much it hurts. Even if it doesn't bother you, pretend ... do it for my sanity. x(

I feel your pain. I e-mailed someone ages ago about those commercials, and did write back. He said he was trying to get rid of them, but now they're back.
I may try writing to him again. I also wrote to the company and asked them to PLEASE make some different commercials.

I just turn down the sound during the commercials.
I don't think Air America can afford to turn down advertisers at this point.

9. I listen to AAR a hell of a lot, but I'm not familiar with this issue. |
|
I think I pretty much tune out all the commercials without knowing it.
Or maybe I just don't' know what teeth grinding sounds like, so I don't hear it.
Funny thing, though -- this thread.

I have no idea what the commercial is.
One that annoys me is the one where the lady keeps saying "Tell them about the discount Harry!"
AAR is making money off of this; just turn the volume down for the time being.:D

21. Yes, "Harry" rings a bell. But I couldn't tell you what the commercial |

is for if it was a multiple choice question.

19. This commercial is one of the worst forms of torture I've had to listen to |
|
Very fitting for it to be playing during this administration.
