Clinton Vs. Bush
Freepers go on and on about how we defended Clinton no matter what he did, but what are they doing?

Clinton:
Whitewater-found nothing
Gennifer Flowers-clinton admitted to it, and it wasn't illegal
Paula Jones-case was dismissed for lack of evidence
Lewinsky-Fine, OK. Impeachment failed, alright?
Idiotic accusations of murdering thousands and masterminding the entire cocaine trade-made up out of whole cloth, and not believeable for anyone who isn't mentally retarded.

Bush:
9/11-Bush is known to have sat around reading a kids book. Freepers blame the American public for not seeing that as presidential.
SOTU speech-shown to be a lie. Freepers blame the UK
Mission accomplished-Badly staged photo op, as obvious to anyone with an IQ over that of a chicken. Freepers blame the armed forces, because supposedly the shipmates made a banner taking hundreds of man hours of work to construct for a surprise visit.
Thanksgiving turkey in Iraq-bad photo op.Freepers blame the press.
Flight to Baghdad-Silly story that served no purpose. Freepers blame the airlines.
Capture of Saddam-Clearly a lie. Freepers blame the press again.
Looting of the Iraqi museum-US security shown to be a farce. Freepers blame the press for not lying that security is functional.
Debates-Bush looks like an idiot. Freepers blame the press for not lying again, and claim that being an idiot is now the new genius.
Election-So full of holes we look like France under Louis XVI. Freepers blame poll irregularities on polling itself, and the press because they're all lieberuls.
Cindy Sheehan-Bush looks like a coward hiding from his friend's mommy. Freepers blame Cindy Sheehan for being satan spawn.
Katrina-Bush manages to destroy part of the US. Freepers blame New Orleans for existing, and the dead for being dead.
Wiretapping-Bush declares himself king. Freepers blame Americans for not believing Bush is king.

As we all know, this is a drop in the bucket. But there's definately a trend here:
Rightwingers tried to attack Clinton for things, and they were proven false or laughably false. Now, we try to hold Bush accountable, and freepers try to blame everyone but him. How much longer do they have to keep making excuses for the guy anyway?

2. The thing that bothers me most is the Washington Press Corps
Has David Broder ever said one thing against chimpie? chimpie starts a worthless fuckin' war and for our troubles, chimpie gets his ass kissed by all the talking heads inside beltway. Freepers are known to dumber than a bag of rocks, but the press whores? They would claim to be smarter than Einstein, and purer than Mother Theresa.

3. Well, what gets me...
Freepers are 100 times the apologists for Bush than anyone was for Clinton, yet they complain about integrity and how we shouldn't apologize for a president. They actually claim that it is right for Bush to break the law, and at the same time say that we are apologists for supporting Clinton!

7. You're right, but even the press does that to a certain extent
I can remember talking heads calling anyone who defended Clinton for any reason a Clinton apologist.

4. Can Bill do the ultimate service to his country?

The threat of Hillary bringing certain defeat to the party in 2008 makes my skin crawl.

Bill....
If you really want to do the best thing you can for the country.
Get some balls....
And tell Hillary to forget it.
We'll still love you.

5. I agree
Although I think hillary could bring some good things to the table, IMO she's too politically charged.

6. Even in an unfair fight, I'd put my money on Clinton
but you would have to bet 10 dollars to win 1 . . .

8. The Difference in the Reaction of the Supporters is Interesting
Never (since the truth came out) have I heard a democratic partisan deny the reality of what happened.

I get the feeling that some of these GOPeople are truly convinced that Mr. Bush is infallible.

Yep. He did it. Kept a young woman under his desk doing the nasty.
