There are actually more Republican veterans in Congress than Democrats though that appears to be changing as more Republicans are sent off to jail and the new breed is a bunch of Chickenhawks. Of the new Veterans that are just entering politics over ninty percent are Democrats.

19. I was worried about that - we are trying to out-militarize the GOP - but

most of these folks, when you hear them talk on Majority Report Fighting Dems for example - also sound strong on civil rights, education, health care, sane/smart use of military, ecology and so forth. Sam and Kos ask them about a variety of issues and most of the people they have interviewed so far are good on the issues, I think.
