Has anyone seen a Picture of Cowboy Bush Jr. on a Horse?
I just want to know...cause a cowboy without his horse, is like a President without political capital, if you ask me!

27. Ever since "the incident" Mr Bush has shied away from the ponies. . .
In his first and only attempt at riding a horse, then Governor Bush was helped aboard a carefully chosen steed and, once he was firmly in the saddle, the horse was released.

Almost immediately, Mr Bush lost control and, in a frightening scene, tumbled from the saddle, his foot caught in a stirrup. The horse continued on as Mr Bush, screaming wildly, was dragged behind it. His aides rushed to help but there seemed little they could do -- the horse was so wild and Mr Bush was so tangled in the rig. Onward the horse rushed as Gov. Bush's head bounced violently on the ground. It seemed all was lost and the witnesses were convinced Mr Bush would be maimed, if not killed outright. Fortunately, the Wal-Mart manager came out in the nick of time and pulled the plug, otherwise Mr Bush might have been trampled before his quarter's-worth of time expired.

Ever since, Mr Bush has shied away from the ponies. So a little respect for the old guy, okay? He does quite well in the firetruck and spaceship, but the pony's just a little too wild.

24. I think one is floating around, but I think it was one of those stuffed
horses you'd see during the 50's. Photographers would come around with a mounted pony. The kid, usually dressed up like their favorite cinema cowboy, is put up on the horse and photographed. Sometimes a fake background is used. sometimes they have a Bison, or Elephant to pose with. There could be a bucking horse, or a standing horse for the more fearful kid.

found this one.

30. Aww, he's all hat and no cattle
The only reason he set-up in Texas is to get the southern vote by playing Billy Bob. He's no more Texas than his grandpappa, Prescott. He went to some Ivy league school, Yale I think it was. If he was blood, in Texas, he woulda went to Texas, maybe A&M. There's lots of good schools right in Texas, so why Yale? Even is old man is a phoney. He bailed-out on his crew members in WWII when he panicked like a coward. Why do you think he makes those periodic parachute jumps, he's trying to reconcile his cowardice. He's a chicken shit. Just like HIS old man Prescott, a fuckin' Nazi.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/images/campaign2000/bush/bush_photo2.htm

(other DUers have suggested that this is actually not his own pony, but a posed pic done by a door-to-door photographer, who would slap a cowboy costume on your kid and plop him on top of the animal ...)

50. In order to ride a horse you have to be smarter than the horse
Little Lord Pissypants, apparently has a problem there.

Horses are living bullshit detectors. A horse faced with an arrogant, aggressive jerk like Dear Leader would do its very best to make a fool out of him.

I understand Vladimir Putin took western riding lessons so he wouldn't disgrace the great Russian equestrian tradition when he went riding at Bush's ranch and was terribly disappointed when told that there were no horses.

Vincente Fox also offered to take Bush riding during a visit to his ranch. About the closest they got was Bush posing near the horse for the cameras.
