Hillary said that we (Dems) have to be stronger on Terrorism. And that Bush is using Terror to win elections.

5. Dean says Bush not protecting US

From (faulty) memory.

Defended democrats on security issues saying that Democrats would capture and kill Osama Bin Laden.

Attacked Bush for failing to secure borders, capture Bin Laden, equip troops.

Gibson kept trying to get Dean to discuss Democrats perceived weakness on security but he was having none of it. Kept harping back on the theme that Bush has not protected this country.

On domestic wiretaps said Democrats support spying on Al Queda but demand that Bush follow the law. No one--not even the president is above the law.
