Is this for real? UGH! I can't believe they are giving him this for being AWOL! Isn't someone going to step up and say "no"?

2. Un-friggin believable
Thats like making a bronze bust of Gomer Pyle and unveiling it at a serious ceremony in his honor. The only difference is that Gomer Pyle actually served honorably

23. Just a bust - does this actually show the percentage of * in
a direct relationship to the percentage of time he actually bothered to show up? I'd say that the bust shows about 20%, which sounds about right.

6. You have got to be F&%#ING KIDDING ME!?!?!
If being AWOL from cush duty is all it takes to get a bust commemorating service, then why don't Murtha, Cleland and Kerry have freakin MONUMENTS erected in their honor???

We have truly gone through the looking glass...

:freak:

9. Shouldn't the bust show him tilted back with his mouth open...
since the only thing he consistently showed up for were his dental exams?

Bush knows how false and phony this is, and at the level of his soul he is profoundly distrubed by the Propaganda Lie. but his ego and his personality are so deep into fear and denial, that he endures this "honoring" all the same.

11. In this case, it's called a bust because
his time in the service was broken.

What an asshat.

in this photo.

He must feel the bitter bite of this Big Lie to the core of his bowels (forgive the hideous imagery, nothing less will do).

22. That just doesn't look like him.
The chin is too prominent, the nose and nostrils and all wrong, the forehead is too high. The shirt (check different photo) looks like a wild west shirt.

The ear looks about right. Who the heck sculpted this? Kick him or her back to 3-D Art 101.

and the beer cans?

is that a musket behind him or a coke straw?

In a related story, the bust is now missing and unaccounted for.
