It is not going to work...
divide and conquer.

The effect is like buckshot, anymore, giving more points to coalesce around (but, contrary to past wisdom, this does not weaken the impetus toward far-sightedness, only multiplies the "reason" to disregard the paper icon, to go around, over, under, through...forward). Because there is an organization, an infrastructure, that allows for obstruction by making it irrelevant. More opinions, now, no longer siphons off strength from obstructionist ideology but only makes ideology weaker.

metaphorically, I see it as a heart-beat, a steeper pyramid that accentuates a narrow perspective and prizes dominance or will or whatever one chooses to call it. When the individual is deified it works as an exclamation to draw the base closer together in communication in creating more possabilities...end result, flat line...one egocentric point of view outside the shell of commerce (commerce in the form of communication).

media is flat-lined.

the heart-beat of the world persists...there exists a round-about.

They have made themselves irrelevant...
