DU intermittently wonkey for anybody else?

Getting real slow download, partial pages or error messages. Just me or is there a snag?

Other sites loading ok, and this one OK then weird again. :shrug:

20. I hear you soup...sometimes I find too many cookies in my

computer so I run an Adware scan and often find 10-15 cookies from various news and marketing services so when
I remove the unnecessary cookies my pc runs faster,(as dial up could lol)..

9. You're not alone

It's been that way for about the past hour. I'm just now getting back here myself, after DU refused to load at all for awhile. Now it's just a bit slow. I have no clue as to why though, Yesterday it was a cable cut in Chicago, today,:shrug:

10. My guess: the "Cheney authorized leaking of classified info" story did it.

Not only was that story tops on the board when everything seized up, but the original link (National Journal) was (and still largely is) slow or unreachable. So was the HuffPost story on it. So was Buzzflash.

Everybody got their pants in a twitter (possibly with good reason).

19. its been extremely slow for me too...

at about 12:30pmCST, I couldn't get the whole page to load at all. Now its loading but its VERY slow. Gone to visit other sites in the meantime, and they are perfectly fine. So something is up with DU.

23. I was completely unable to get on for quite awhile this afternoon.

It seems to be working now, but still a little slow.

To make matters worse, the DU Panic Room at Yahoo seems to be acting kind of wonkey right now as well.:(
