Okay! Who's Responsible for Bush Making a Fool of Himself /LA Bomb?
Edited on Thu Feb-09-06 04:37 PM by KoKo01
Here's what I've read so far in posts on DU about Bush foiling another 9/11 Attack in 2002 when a terrorist was supposed to blow up building in LA:

From DU posts:
1)A reporter asked Scotty this a.m. how a shoe bomber could blow up a building and something about cockpit doors 2)Bush apparently gets name of the LA building wrong 3) Mayor of LA says he never heard about it and 4) CA Senator Feinstein says she only heard rumors and doesn't know anything else about it.

Did I miss something here?

Who let the Chimp off his leash or took him off his meds to come out with this ridiculous story that doesn't add up? Sounds like either these reports I'm reading on DU are wrong or someone's SETTING HIM UP?

 It's just too bizarre.

1. Think about it...
Do you really think that these rat bastards would have bypassed the opportunity to USE THIS in the 2004 Election? No fucking way. They NEVER pass up an opportunity to exploit as long as it is in their favor.

Peace.

39. Rove.
It was a mis-step, rather than a set-up. Rove, like most bullies, is rough and tough on offense, but a cream puff on defense. The outcome they hoped for was not achieved.

13. Fascists Are Inherently Lazy
It's the old: just kill everyone, it's easier than doing the work. Just tap everyone, it's easier than doing the work. Just lie and say you're doing something, it's easier than actually doing the work, etc.

The only people who watch Scotty are DU'ers and maybe some Freepers.

Meanwhile, the corporate media is in "Bush saved us" mode.

10. He's being made to look incompetent to even the National Security playing
field.

Dems are supposed to take over the government in the next two years: that's the storyline.

In order for the Dems to take Congress and Hillary to become President, Republicans have to be shown to be totally incompetent.

Once Dems get elected thanks to media manipulation, our brains will all simultaneously shut down and we will slumber again like we did in the Clinton years.

Then it will be the Freepers' turns to again be the country's designated whackos.

Even Bush has said it: "Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton." The outcome is pre-ordained.

19. Nope, wasn't dumb at all...
... think about it--the White House announces to the press the day before that Bush is going to announce details about foiled terrorist plots on Thursday. And, on top of that, there's a "nerve gas" alert in the Senate office building Wednesday night--just to get the press and public all primed for the main event on Thursday. So, what does the press do? They run right behind him, through the doors of National Guard headquarters and show the world the precious scene of him unveiling a bust of himself (one wonders if it only had half a face, since Bush only served about half his obligation), and he provides no more substantive information than the White House did last October of the same events.

And he gets to make one of his endearing Bushisms, referring to the Library Tower in LA as the "Liberty" Tower. How precious is that? Terrorists attacking liberty....

And the press laps it up.

Who're the real fools here?

if all of his crimes and lies were in a movie I would walk out of the theater before it was over because I would believe

"This is just impossible. That President in the movie is an idiot. NO ONE would put up with that in America."

I feel like I live in Bizzaro World. Like I'm in a dumb dream I can't wake up from. I don't see how anyone except his hard core sheep will fall for this one. It's un f***ing believable!!!!

38. I have a born again christian handy man
who is the polar opposite of me. Not so much religously but he is against abortion and thinks being gay can be "cured in most cases".

I know. AAAARRRRRGH!!!!!!!

BUT, when I asked him if he thought bush was a good christian he said "No." Because he broke the "Thou Shalt Not Kill" commandment. And he voted for Kerry-but wasn't thrilled with him either.

33. Bush got things mixed up (as usual).
It was supposed to be: shoe bomber planned to storm the cockpit by igniting the bomb and beating his way in with the bloody stump. The pilots, at first startled, would then begin laughing uncontrollably and crash the plane into the big building. I think that's what Dear Leader meant.
