No mention of the "chief front" in the "War On Terror." No factual connections with the great imminent threat made.
Just: 'A Southeast Asian nation arrested an Asian terrorist ringleader with links to al Qaeda.'
(NOTE: I didn't hear any of details of the other 10 "foiled" plots.)

most likely would not have been arrested until after the Bali nightclub bombing which occurred on Oct 12 2002. If this is the case the hijacking was discovered and thwarted in possibly record time. Jemaah Islamiyah (sp) modus operandi tends to be car/truck bombs against targets within Indonesia; not halfway round the world in LA.
Like the rest of you I call this administration out on this one.
