10. Traditionally true of the US President |
|
At least since WWII. Kind of thought that was behind the premise of World Can't Wait, the acknowledgement of the importance of the US Presidency. Not everything is Bush propaganda.

***cheney who worked for "the most important person in the world***
Who is it? I'd really love to know who's really running things in the world these days. (I'd like to have a few words with him 'cause most everything is really f'd up!)

. . . will be told of Turley's remarks, and will find it orgasmic.
Almost as much fun as ordering air strikes on women and children.

16. Of course Bush is the most important person in the world. |
|
He's is the president of a country which has more international influence than the rest of the world put together, and given that he has Senate and Congress majorities his power over it is fairly complete.
Not merely does he have more power than anyone else in the world, he probably has more power than the next five put together. The military and financial influence of America is hard to overestimate.
Of course, "important" doesn't mean "good".
