This is just desperation, putting two separate plots (Richard Reid's shoe bombing with the supposedly larger 9/11 plot that was scaled back because they didn't have enough pilots to take on LA) together to scare the dolts in middle America into thinking Stupid's domestic spying is a great thing and telling their congressmen to reapprove the Patriot Act so he can keep dictatorial powers. Gee, it's meant to make them feel all warm and fuzzy and safe because Stupid was supposed to have done something about a terror plot four years ago, guess repeating what got Nixon thrown out of office isn't such a bad thing after all, is it?

Too bad even the dolts are starting to realize something stinks in Washington, and it isn't their football team.

The reason I say that is because the only senators sticking their faces in the camera were republicans saying: "We've still got a long way to go before we can all feel safe again". What kind of shit is that? It was a faulty sensor built by the lowest bidder who got a massive kick-back for cryin' out loud.
