Nazis call Minutemen "sellouts" - Hmm, Reichstag fire, anyone?

Yesterday, Univision had a money-shot, showing the MinuteMAN and TANCREDO in the same picture as Nazis-in-nazi-drag-armbands. Now comes the Moonie-Times saying that the two Nazis CLASHED with the MinuteMAN and called them "sellouts"! BECAUSE the MinuteMAN do protest too much that they are NOT racist! This stuff can't be made up.

Let's see, the MinuteMAN deny being racists (but they are), and the Nazis are trying to KEEP THEM HONEST! Or is the Moonie Times aiding the MinuteMAN by posing them being attacked by the Nazis?

I'll say again (and again), that this so-called "immigration" issue is on the wingnut noise machine front burner, being framed by them as being about "illegality" and "national security" while it really blurs the issues and covers their racism. We need to keep our sights focused: We are not FOR "illegality". We ARE for "national security." We are also FOR civil rights, humane treatment, and social justice. The same focus that we have on the pro-CHOICE issue---we are NOT for abortion, we are pro-CHOICE, and they are not pro-LIFE, they are anti-CHOICE.

And we need to keep the names straight, trippingly on our tongues: This group is called the "MinuteMAN Civil Defense Corps, as opposed to "MinuteMEN". Then there're SIMCOX, GILCHRIST (who is running for Congress), and TANCREDO, not to mention the usual creeps (O'LOOFAH, MALKIN, HANNITY).

Am looking for the money shots of MinuteMAN with the Nazis in the same frame.

Minutemen Rally D.C. Against Guest-Worker Program

About 100 members of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps, an illegal-immigration watchdog group, rallied outside the U.S. Capitol yesterday to protest President Bush's proposed guest-worker program and urge the government to send military troops to secure the U.S.-Mexico border.

At one point, the group clashed with two Nazi demonstrators and about a dozen pro-immigration activists who came out to protest the Minuteman supporters. ....

Police escorted from the rally two demonstrators from the National Socialist Movement who wore swastika arm bands. The men called the Minutemen "sellouts" because the group denies that its stance on illegal entry is based on race or ethnicity.

The men, who identified themselves as Nazis, support white immigrants -- legal or illegal -- and oppose blacks, Hispanics and other minorities (my edit, LEGAL OR ILLEGAL). ....

The Minutemen today will urge Senate leaders to adopt several border-enforcement measures. Minutemen co-founder Chris Simcox, Mr. Gilchrist and Mr. Tancredo also are expected to attend this week's annual national Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington.

This is a recent Minutemen rally. And yes, that's a Nazi flag there, third from the right.

Well, I've been saying all along that the Minutemen's core demographic is constituted of right-wing extremists, including many outright racists.
