O'Reilly: "Make sure Sharpton's in chains..."
Thursday, February 09, 2006
O'Reilly wants Sharpton in chains......

While O'Reilly was pushing the right wing meme-feigning outrage over the people who spoke out at Coretta King's funeral, he said something he wished he hadn't. Sharpton picked up on it and embarrassed Bill.

Video-WMP

Video-QT

O'Reilly: I'm going to write in my will tonight, when I die make sure Sharpton's in chains for 24 hours before I'm in the ground.

Sharpton: I could say something about you wanting me in chains, but I'll let it go

O'Reilly: Oh, alright-I didn't mean that...

Sharpton: Well you said chains, Bill.

Bill lost his bite then...

2. Nice, racially-sensitive remark Bill. You fuckwad! Sharpton
should have said "Are you going to have your remains washed with a falafel, Bill?"

5. Bill didn't mean to say "chains"
He meant to say "in a big wooden ship."

6. stupid white girl here
I had heard the chains commnent and thought it was a really odd reference, who talks about chains anyhow?? Now I get it. Freudian slip for sure, just the kind of thing a racist asshole would say. Remember, it was O'Reilly who made that comment about watching your cars at that fundraiser for black youth a few years back.

8. And his true colors come shining through. Thanks for making it
crystal clear for us, Bill. We used to just suspect you were a racist, now we know for sure.
