Something I've noticed about the NSA defensive people... |
|
All they say is "the enemy is listening." They don't say "who" but "the enemy." Than they turn around and specifically say "Al-Quaeda" to scare you up. Has anybody else noticed this or is it just me? Even rightwing pundits like O'Reilly, Hannity etc say that too.

1. "The enemy" is scarier than "al Qaeda" |
|
they did the same thing during the Red Scare. Unfortunately, it tends to work.

2. I just ask them if they would feel the same way if Hillary Clinton... |
|
were President.
That usually shuts them right up.

and me, and anyone that pays attention.
The "enemy" is out there, Al Queda, who in fits and starts, the * Administration says is also been reduced, or nearly destroyed.
They can't have it both ways.
Actually Al Queda is and always has been a loosely associated connection of terrorists around the world that it is hard to call them a terrorist group themselves.
