What If: Terror Attack on the Olympics?
Think about it... the World is watching. Are the PNAC pinheads desperate enough to do such a thing. For those that believe Bush had a hand in 9-11, I know your answer, but for those who are on the fence, what say you?

Is Bush evil enough to knowingly allow/partake in a terror attack on the Olympics for global political opportunism?

1. Is Bushco evil enough? Yes.
And I wish you hadn't put this thought into my head. Let me take a moment to make sure my tinfoil hat is on tightly......An attack at the Olympics would give him the chance to scream "Terra! Terra! Terra!" without the disadvantages an attack in America would cause. And, did Italy ever join the the "coalition of the willing". I can't remember. (But I'll never forget Poland.)

2. People said that about the Super Bowl
but nothing happened. I believe that any future attacks will occur when we don't expect it.

3. Its in Italy right? It would not be as effective as an attack here unless
it was really catastrophic?

5. Hmmmm

Bush is certainly evil enough but he wouldn't be able to control the situation in Italy, so I'd say no.

If anything * would have done it in 2002 as he would have been able to control everything.

Cheers

6. I'm not expecting an attack at the Olympics;
I won't be surprised if there's an attack at the Olympics.

There's been a terrorist (IMHO) attack at an Olympics already. There will, no doubt, be another. But I'm not going to prejudge who the guilty people will be at that yet-future event, as though only PNACers could or would do such a thing. They didn't the first time, and they may not exist for the second time.

7. Geez I hope not.
Our coach (Carolina Hurricanes) and a lot of our hockey players are in the Olympics.

8. In a sick way, it would be perfect
A terror attack at the Olympics would be perfect for the Bush administration....

It wouldn't happen on U.S. soil, so they wouldn't feel the need to take any responsibility for it. They would have had to shoulder some blame if something happened at the Super Bowl. ("Them weak Eur-o-pee-ans can't keep ya safe.)

It would scare the our citizens again. ("We need wiretapping so that our brave cowboy, Bush, will know who plans to attack next.)

Complete distraction from everything bad currently happening. ("Who cares about campaign finance reform, voting irregularities, or keeping the right to chose-- we need plastic and duct tape")

Bush needs to establish a legacy. ("Yes, he fell down a lot, but he protected us from people with brown skin.")

I don't think that Bush made 9-11 happen, but he has to be feeling desperate now. Who knows how desperate?
