Lordie, what WILL the BushBots do if the boy king is impeached? Or Cheney |
|
I've had to stomach the most revolting denials of truth about the Plame leak and every other scandal from the righties since this whole thing started - it made me ill. But now all their cherished justifications are being brought into the light of day and are exploding into nothing. Soon, very soon, even the most slavering BushBot will be forced to admit that the boy king and his puppet master have been criminal little boys. What then?
What do you think the BushBots will do if their heros are impeached? Mass suicide? Continued denial? Mental breakdown? What do you think?
I don't know what will happen, but .
(OK, I'm really having a LOT of fun watching it all go down.)

In twenty years or maybe fifteen, they will stage a coup d'etat, establish a military dictatorship and put people like you in tiger cages.

18. More Likely 15 or 20 MINUTES From Passage of Articles of Impeachment |
|
and more likely the fundie xtian militias doing it, because the Army is otherwise occupied and they wouldn't do it anyway.
Whey do you suppose they always play to their lunatic-fringe base, even when they're tanking in the polls? They never feel any need to even throw a bone to the moderates, while they give the crazies everything they want.

Excessive sexual activity is often an escape from stress.
And yes, there could be some bawling, too. :-)

8. they will drop the big one. |
|
It was Clinton's fault.
This Cheney stuff is dead on serious. What he did is called TREASON. He stopped an ongoing CIA operation that was stopping real WMDs from going to terrorists. Brewster Jennings, Plame's cover company was very big and world wide. It was after lose nukes in the old Soviet Union and had penetration into Saudi Arabia and into the royal family there. Remember that 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudis and much of their money came from Saudi Arabia.
Repugs will have to throw him under the bus.

9. Whatever happens, whether they impeach the boy king |
|
or his evil minister, or if we take back the congress in 2006 and the White House in 2008 (which I believe), these sick fucks will be with us always. We will be fighting their fundamentalist hatred and willful ignorance for the rest of our lives. We should recognize this and let them know -- we will always be there to stop you. We owe it to our children, our nation, and our world to do this.

12. We can't even do a filibuster and you want to talk about impeachment? |
|
A successful impeachment requires 67 votes in the senate. How many did a critical filibuster get?

You can't impeach the dummy and elevate the ventriloquist. Who would be the compromise, unelected Republican that Chimpy would appoint as VP?
Mind you, I think the odds of impeachment are slim to none. And I don't see this cabal resigning.

|
How he talked about how he was 9th in line for the Presidency? Might be him (since everyone else is a crook). He might last 2 days or so before he starts taking bribes and telling lies.

|

Cheney would be impeached first like Spiro Agnew, and Chimpy would appoint a new VP.
If I were impeaching them, thats the way I'd do it, unless you want Dennis Hastert as President.
This is the only imaginable impeachment scenario: Dems win back both houses of Congress in a tidal wave, enough Repugs go threaten to go along with impeachment to save their own political asses like in 1974. They impeach Cheney, and give Chimpy an order to appoint some compromise VP and then resign or be impeached.
That really strains the imagination though. What else could come out about this Administration for these Repugs to defend and rationalize that is all that worse than what is already known? We already know that they lied to start a war and secretly spy on Americans in violation of the law.

You, Mr. FormerRepublican know fine what the lunatics will do. They will foment a civil war. Or at least the Hannity's will until someone gets killed at which point the Fed's might actually get involved and start arresting these hate mongers for incitement.
How's your precious free speech loving self feel about that?

Their youngest and brightest (read: most wicked) will again go underground, as did Rove, Rummy and Cheney after Watergate. They'll eventually find a kind, fatherly figure to continue their revolution, until they feel the country is again ready for another putsch. Oh happy day (sarcasm).
