So could all these leaks about Cheney be preparing the public for... |
|
...indictment? From what's leaked, Cheney is in big doo doo. And Fitz wouldn't want to just spring it on the world - much too shocking for grandma freeper. So they leak a bit here and leak a bit there to get grandma freeper ready for the Cheney indictment shock. (And WHEN will it be Rove's turn?)
What do you think?

He may be an enabler, but I don't think he's one of the junta.

McCain too. There has to be a reason he's so buddy/buddy with someone who dragged him and his family through the mud. And then as vp he'll be set for the run in '08.

7. I think Condi gets the nod over McCain |
|
McCain may be the favorite among the "moderate" gophers, but there's no way the establishment lets him anywhere near the WH like that. They basically use him and kick him to the curb, and he just keeps coming back for more. They've been grooming Condi since the beginning of the BushCo regime - first bringing her in as NSA chief, then promoting her to Secy of State. Who knows, maybe they figure she'll help them capture the black and female vote in '08 - as if people are actually that transparent.

and thus may be at risk for a conspiracy charge. So by all means, let her assume the VP slot

6. What an interesting post, FR. Yes. It's got us thinking. |

It does sound like Uncle Dick has his wiener caught in the pool filter on this one.
I agree with other DUers who've suggested that Dick's doc will insist that he "resign for health reasons" and then Bush, seeing his opportunity to be cute and historic all at once, will nominate Kindasleazy for VP. She's chic, she's outdated, and she's ostentatious -- a bad art deco mannequin.
Dick Lugar gets her job. Indiana Gov. Daniels appoints one of the several cement-brained members of the Indiana congressional delegation to replace Lugar.

8. Not indictment--but the big step-down. |
|
The choices for his replacement: McCain--a possibility that would throw the opposition (read that us and some other Americans) off their persistent hunt for facts about the F*ck-ups of BushCo.
Condi--a test balloon for the 08 nomination.
Karen (Mommy) Hughes--(1)a female (2) who will be totally under the Neocon thumb.
I know, I can hardly believe # 3, but she is a possibility.

9. It could be both Cheney and Bush... |
|
Which might also explain why we had a letter to the editor to Vanity Fair trying to inadequately defend Hastert against the allegations he'd taken bribes from Turks six months after it was earlier published. With Hastert next in line for the presidency if both are impeached, the timing of such a letter seems rather curious.

it falls with the next big wind storm. Sorry folks, Hastert would be a sorry-*ss president--which means, he needs to be defeated and part of the big scenario waits until '07?

But the next, like, ten people in line for the top spot are *all* criminals. Will we be able to keep enough momentum to remove all of them?

This is why he spent the week of Katrina closing on his new Maryland estate, right next to Rummy's. He will resign for "health reasons" and run the war-mongering from exile in MD.
