Why doesn't Fitzgerald indict VP Cheney?

It's been reported that Cheney authorized Libby to leak classified information. Fitzgerald has stated that Plame was covert. So what is Fitzgerald waiting for?

this is the question that Hillary worked on in the Watergate case I believe--can a sitting President (VP) be indicted without forst being impeached?

I think that Fitz would have to be certain that nobody else leaked it prior, i.e., that it's the first leak - once it's leaked to anyone whose not sworn to secrecy, it's no longer secret. In a White House that leakslike a sieve, this is a real problem.

Malloy made this mention before his break. He said how Fitzgerald mention SUPERIORS as in plural but he's supposed to have ONE, so why would Fitzgerald mention two? And Libby hasn't been indicted for anything except lying in the court room. :popcorn:
