Looking at CNN.com
I see no mention anywhere of our president's heroic foiling of the terrrorist attack on L.A. Nowhere. I'm sorry, isn't that a big story?
All of us here knew that it was intended to knock Libby's acknowledgement of his instructions off of the lead-off slot in yesterday's news but I'm surprised the bought media is giving up so soon. This is the most half-hearted attempt at terra-misdirection yet. I almost feel cheated.

5. I don't doubt that at all
but it's not on the frontpage of their website. I call that a telling omission.

that a guy who threatens to blow up his own feet and doesn't know the correct name of the building isn't exactly a credible threat.

6. Victims of their own Noise machine
The King funeral is consuming all the vapid parrot talk, blowback of Bush's attendance. Sometimes you can take on too much and the talking points they have for distraction may not be the ones they desire at the moment, so heady is the rush of events.

But do they care? No, they put stuff out there and expect the machine to churn out support and tyranny- and it does along with some credible appearance of troublesome dissent- which has had very little effect on them in their book of raw power. Maybe they think love will come later?

As for ploys to keep this quantum balance of impossibilities and lies working for them they go on and on no matter how well or how ridiculous- because they work so far.

The added problem is that California as a whole does not rush headlong into RW talking points as much. In fact Bush is running out of places even in red states to play these games. But there are far fewer places where anyone will call him on what he's really up to.

As a result we'll have a war in Iran to wash over all the "trivia".
