Can You Think of One Thing This Adm. was Truthful About? |
|
It seems like it has all been a web of lies - everything was a big lie.
The tax cuts that were going to help people.
The drug benefit that was going to help people.
The war that was going to free people.
The secret stuff about everything: Katrina, the war, the spying.
I can't think of one single thing we were not deceived about.

8. Sure, I can think of several times he's been truthful |
|
He told the truth on December 18,2000: "If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier - just so long I'm the dictator."
And again and in Business Week, July 30, 2001: "A dictatorship would be a heck of a lot easier, there's no question about it." --GWB
And finally, he was honest at a PR appearance on May 24, 2005: "See, in my line of work you got to keep repeating things over and over and over again for the truth to sink in, to kind of catapult the propaganda."
Every now and then, the truth slips out...

21. "I'll run America like a business!" |
|
All one has to do is look at Bush's dismal record as a businessman, and you'll see that he has held true to this promise. Before it was Sammy Sosa. Now he's traded Lady Liberty for Usama Bin Laden.
