Too bad for the Bush/Cheney-bot that they were responsible for ringing in the "culture of throwing each other under the bus at the first sign of verbal dissent" because with Scooter, Brownie, CIA Agents, and Government Agencies ripping the scabs off of old wounds it seems they can't find a fall guy.
Unless the white house janitor will take the fall...oops, sorry, Bush just slashed his pension...

The WH will most likely come out of that fairly unscathed. The election may have been a little different if Katrina had come in 2004 rather than 2005, but all in all, the "fiddling while it drowned" image is the only thing that the WH will have to endure...and of course their blatant disregard for the poor. That's sort of a given though.
