Okay, I have about 10 minutes to eat lunch in and I missed
most of the hearing this morning. I don't have time to wade through the threads. Can someone summarize in 2-3 sentences for me before I have to descend into the next circle of Hell? What happened and are they done for the day?

3. Brownie laid most of the blame on Chertoff and what he viewed as
a flawed system put forth by DHS. There was a heated moment between Brown and Sen. Coleman... which was followed by one of the Democratic Senators telling Brown he was the "designated scapegoat."

Chertoff's guys (Broderick and Stephan) placed blame squarely on Brown. This was somewhat foiled toward the end when Lieberman pulled out satellite photes taken by their own agency on Monday early evening which showed the levees broken. (They were trying to say Brown/FEMA didn't get the necessary information to them until Tuesday afternoon.)

'Ward, you were really tough on the Beaver last night' in some fashion... let's see...

'Brownie, you were really hard on the Bush yesterday'. .. or something.
