has there ever been a president so scared shitless of his own people?

our big tough guy, bad ass, macho man president is in reality scared shitless of us. we the people are so scary to george that he has to spend all his time hiding from us, absolutely terrified to appear before a random crowd off the street.

when he has to speak to the press, which supposedly represents we, the people, he breaks out in a cold sweat like a man caught buggering a boy. he loses all his composure and his face takes on a look of abject terror when he's asked an uncomfortable question. panic washes over him, and it's obvious to anyone with eyes, he's scared shitless.

and he has much to be afraid of in the coming three years.

3. I do not think it is all the SS guys myself.

SS does look bad but you know the service I mean. Bush and his Vice have really carried this to far. Just about Shut up the WH and all the rest. I would say that he is a little up tight about every day people. Look back at the first day he came in and watch C-span. Something was really going on on that day.Lets face it all those people in Fa. that voted twice were really Dem. voters and they all lost their votes being counted. He got into office that first time very odd. That and his nature seems to take it over the edge. A man not sure of himself who needs a feed on how to think. He can not turn to some one else all the time and when he speaks off the cuff he sounds nuts. Or to me he does.

4. there was a moment during that press conference on Sunday,or was it Monday

at that hospital in Texas where he went to shhhhpread purple hearts, that he looked exactly the way you describe him, "scared shitless".

There was something definitely wrong with him.

Could anyone of those veterans have shhhhhhpread a little of reality on him? i mean, like really telling him like it is...some cindy sheehan like spirit, perhaps...

or, maybe just the nature of one of their wounds, like, could it have presented him with a struggle between his subconscious mind and his conscious one ...

something wanting to erupt out of his subconscious process to his conscious one,

something saying to him, "i, by my greed for oil, caused this awful thing to happen to this person here..."

something which he probably never acknowledged to himself, but, which, nevertheless may have caused him some struggle...

well, whatever the reason, he did have a look of abject terror on his face.

and while this isn't exactly the moment i am thinking of during that press conference, here is a moment very close to it.

those eyes and eyesockets are filled with panicked terror in them.

that's why he carefully screens audiences and even busses his own people in to "local" events to make sure he's always surrounded by his own people.

it's the vast majority of genuine AMERICANS who scare him. oh, and the rest of the world, too.
