olympics open ceremony is great but bob and whats his name are
way too political - the other news guy Brian is always a * supporter
I wonder if other countries give all this political commentary

What I see is a lot of happy faces from lots of countries and it is too bad any of us call each other enemies or insurgents

who are where would you write about asking them to cut their political commentary out

I love watching except these news guys are awful =they ruin it

5. I guess you've missed Monday Night Football the last five years.
Al Michaels has been sucking Bush's cock the whole time. Even made a crack at Kerry being a "flip-flopper" during a game in New England.

11. you know with so many sports on fox - when we say we need to get
people to the left we need to get sports OFF fox and nbc has definitly turned right - I saw it with Doc and sue thomas fbi right after the last election - the shows turned right - I stoppped watching them - I do so love watching the opening and closing ceremonies thought

who paid for laura * to be there - our tax dollars

I got to go to an off year competion many years ago in raleigh , nc - it was really terrific - it would be exciting to go but the prices are out of the reach of the oridinary people now

It's the god damn Olympics for crying out loud. Unlike the King funeral, the Olympics are not supposed to be political.

3. Costas is good
but it could definitly do without Brian Williams. Keith Olberman should be on. He has a background in sports and now does a news show, so it would be a waaay better fit.

7. costas gets on my nerves - he says some of the stupidest things
especially when he does those fire side chats at the end - he is terrible but couric is worse and brian williams is really ruining it these guys probably have those flags on their lapels - a symbol in my mind of rw - yuck - I can;t believe how polarized I have become since * was selected

I really like see all the shiny happy faces - it makes you realize not everyone believe in bombs first as the usa does

9. Has Costas recovered from his hot
and heavy crush on Bush? I quit watching him because he got all creamy over Bush during the summer Olympics. He was giddy. Has he finally gotten over his "he likes me. He really likes me!" phase so he's watchable again?

I am choosing not to watch this year. I would love to just enjoy the ceremonies and draw my own conclusions.

18. I'm not listening too closely to them. I did notice with surprise one
comment that one government had "turned to the right, but one thing liberals and conservatives agree on is they love their..."

I can't recall what nation, what sport.

What surprised me was the "turned to the right, but..." and no demonizing at least in that sentence of liberals.

27. I thought it ironic that the US Team came in on the song "Freedom".
Considering that this government is systematically trying to erode our freedoms, was this propaganda?

28. I usually love opening ceremonies BUT

last nite's opening was strange. I was already to be awed and delighted but by the time they got to the flag ceremony I was thinking I was seeing a republican arranged event.

all the costumes seemed like institution clothing.

and the deal with the cows turned my feminist stomach. (yes I know that area of Italy does dairy)

but I watched a bit longer and have to say the people forming the ski jumper jumping was great. after that I kept thinking republican and finally turned it off.

shucks
