Livni: Compromise a ‘slippery slope’

Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni said international recognition and compromises with Hamas could cause a “slippery slope.”
Livni, who met with American and international leaders in the United States this week, told the New York Sun Thursday that any weakness the world displays toward Hamas would have a negative effect, not just for Israel, but for the Palestinian people and the international community.
