He didn’t answer, but nodded his head silently.

The War on Drugs (remember that?) often features raids just like this. Obviously, house to house raids have yet to be used, but sending heavily armed paramilitary police squads into a house in the middle of the night is not exactly a new thing here in America.

we can't possibly be that stupid, but apparently I'm the stupid one here.
I continue to believe that eventually the sheeple will remember who they are and where they came from and what they once stood for, but I know, deep down inside, that it is a fantasy. We are lost, betrayed by our own desire for somebody else to take care of us.
I regularly hear "It's in Gods hands", Bullshit! It's up to us and it always has been, what's changed is that we used to understand this. Not any longer, not since raygun and his thugs promised to be the daddy and the American public heaved a sigh of relief, and in the blink of an eye, regressed to the selfish, spoiled children I guess we always were.

This story illustrates why I no longer buy the baloney of "Support our Troops".
Support what? Blind aggression? Brutality? Murder?
The fact is, many of our beloved troops are over there to exercise their misplaced macho BS and, as the old saying goes, "kill some gooks".
I suspect some of them are simply following orders - orders from a immoral and illegal authority.
Others are as disgusted as I am about the proceedings and hopefully will continue to expose the madness.
I do not support an illegal war of aggression and thievery. I do not support those who do.
