WASHINGTON, Feb 9 (Reuters) - Venezuela pledged on Thursday to keep supplying oil to the United States despite an escalating diplomatic crisis that has included the expulsion of envoys in the last few days."We are and we are going to be a reliable source of oil for the world, including the United States," Venezuelan Ambassador Bernardo Alvarez told reporters. Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez warned on Saturday he could shut his government's U.S.-based refineries and sell oil to nations other than the United States if Washington decided to cut diplomatic ties.
