From starting wars on the basis of lies, to deliberately neglecting, and through this neglect causing the death of, thousands of hurricane victims, to producing a level of corruption and graft which John Gotti would envy, to producing a mountain of national debt that will bankrupt our children and grandchildren...the list of revolting REPUBLICAN outrages goes on and on.

If I were "one of them" I would be soooo disgusted with myself (for voting these lying scum in), and with the party of greed and cruelty with which I was aligned.

I've started to play up this aspect of repug-ishness. Especially the deficit angle for their kids. There is something powerful about highlighting reality that makes these folks put down the kool-aid for a moment.

Most of the time their conscience is activated only for a couple of split seconds before they revert back to their bullshit, but I know it's hitting home. Their subsequent posts tend to be muted.

I just can't imagine being affiliated with that scum party. But that's me, and of course I wouldn't be. But I was raised by (formerly) Repub parents, who became staunch Democrats in the late 80's when the "religious" right took over the party. The sleaze and hypocrisy were too much for even my Eisenhower and Nixon loving parents to take. So I know from personal experience it can happen.

i came here about 15 years ago. i didnt see all htis shit prior to 2000. maybe it was there but i wasnt seeing it. now in 2006 it is basically foremost in all conversation that goes on in this area. god.......

sittin at the table of the scum party, i sat next to the husband of a woman running for office. i had a room full of these scum party people. my father is a scum party, lol lol and two brothers. i guess the start is not seeing them as scum party. i told them stories, i told them where i was offended and shame on them they didnt stand up for me, but worse my children.

there were two women that are on the board of planned parenthood. ..... we have a catholic org from the florida teri to do... coming to town. they put rod iron fence around to protect themselves from these people. the hypocrisy is all aroundthem. they just havent put it together yet. but.... it is getting close, i think.
