I think the West and the East are ultimately artificial borders and I'd like to see a global cooperation that fosters an abiding mutual respect for other cultures.

I'm not endorsing the Chinese government's abominable decisions to drive tanks over their own citizens, nor France's government's decision to blow up Greenpeace ships, nor the U.S.'s global torture policies.
