Maybe Bush really did forget meeting Abramoff all those times
The official White House line is that Bush meets a lot of people, it's easy to forget meeting someone.

No one can read his mind, so no one can prove what Bush does and doesn't remember.

It's a question of credibility.

There are two possibilities:

1.Bush really did forget the meetings.
2.Bush is lying in our faces.

When people are considering which one they believe is true, all they have to rely on is Bush's credibility.

ergo, Bush is toast.

1. Bush should be careful ...
... remember when Reagan kept saying (re Iran-contra scandal), "I don't remember."

And we all know how HE wound up -- not able to remember anything at all!

5. Reagan's karma ...
...for the tortured, raped, and murdered families in Central America, at the hands of the rightwing death squads.
Funded by selling arms to Islamic terror groups, and laundered cocaine money, via Oliver North~FAUX News employee.

incredible memory, in an attempt to smarten him up in the eyes of the masses. How do they reconcile that with this newly developed forgetfulness?

6. I think people will buy this excuse.
They've bought it many, many times before, and for much bigger things.
