Kate Michelman
Former NARAL Pro-Choice America president Kate Michelman speaks about her new book, "With Liberty and Justice for All: A Life Spent Protecting the Right to Choose," at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts. In her book, Ms. Michelman writes that 80% of Americans believe in the right to choose and explores how pro-choice candidates have fared in elections at all levels. The author also talks about her experiences as the head of NARAL as well as her early struggles as a Catholic faced with a difficult choice regarding her own pregnancy.
Kate Michelman served as president of the National Abortion Rights Action League Pro-Choice America from 1985 to 2004. This is her first book.
