Remember Sept 10th 2001 when Ashcroft submitted his request for funding |
|
He had cut funding for fighting terrorism by over fifty percent. The Bush* Administration's first budget had cuts for fighting terrorism while pushing for a missle defense system that has never worked. They actually cut funding for fighting terrorism and it is in black and white so how can they even try to blame the previous Administration? They were going to show us what was really important and in their mind it certainly was not some silly terrorist riding a camel somewhere. Besides there was no way they could funnel money to their buddies that they could see so they went whole hog for "Star Wars" How many Democrats will bring this up? Not many I bet because they voted for Bush*s 1st budget in masse right along with the GOP...

All of them. Selfish, sociopathic, greedy, lier's, profiters. Some are murders. This administration needs to be incarcerated using their own interpretation of the laws and Constitution. Then Congress need to be replaced with honest people to fix this mess.

You ask, "How can they even try to blame the previous Administration?"
They have the media in their pocket, that's how. They have mastered the big lie, that's how. They know how to "catapult the propaganda", that's how.
Think about it. 9/11 was a huge failure in every way -- in foresight, in the NORAD non-response, in the president sitting there for half an hour, then flying all over the country to "get out of harm's way", etc. etc. Yet it is somehow Bush's defining moment, when he became a decisive leader.
And so it is with everything the little coward touches. He fails, the media presents it as a success. Or, if it cannot be presented as a success, it's the other guys' fault -- such as Social Security reform, he could not get his program through the Republican controlled Congress, so it's the Democrats' fault. Or, if it reflects badly on Republicans, they project and smear Democrats first to get ahead of the story -- see, all of the stories in the media right now about Democrats who have supposedly "taken money from Abramoff too".
We are so screwed.
