Blue States Have To Deal With The Ramifications Of Red State Stupidity
I don't see that Islamic terrorists are targeting Oklahoma City or Cheyenne or Dallas or St. Louis.

They are targeting, and have historically targeted, New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles.

But the people in THOSE cities and states voted overwhelmingly against Bush and his warmongering policies.

It's easy for voters in red states to vote for this zealot cretin, because THEY don't have to suffer the consequences of their own stupidity.

The Blue States do.

(and yeah, I realize there are tons of good people in red states who voted against Bush and his policies, but it doesn't mitigate the point that it is the blue states that take the brunt of the consequences for having this major asshole as our "leader")

1. That's why they don't believe in global warming...
so that when the icecaps melt and wipe out both coasts, the red states just inland will have the coast they always wanted and all these bullshit policies will go to protect their major cities and landmarks, i.e. Chattanooga, the largest ball of twine, the Gran'Ole Opry house, Terre Haute, etc...

2. Yep. I have to remind red staters, NY, NJ, PA and DC , the states
that were actually affected by the 9/11 attacks didn't vote for Bush. They should consider that and question why.

3. Salt-water fish have omega-3 fatty acids that help the brain.
This is missing from the diets of people in the 'red' states.

Eat your sushi, folks!

6. "Don't like Sushi"??
Edited on Sun Feb-12-06 12:24 PM by TahitiNut
Heresy! (I used to call it "bait".) Actually, the wide variety in sushi almost guarantees that anyone could find kinds they like. I didn't know this until I was properly 'introduced' to it by my Japanese almost-fiancee of 2 years. (It was a good thing I trusted/respected her judgment in virtually everything - she was a very insightful person.) It's really amazing how wide the variety is. (I still can't deal with uni, though.)

Try hamachi and toro. (Yum!)

4. OKC was attacked by "Domestic Terrorists"
Although there are reports that Islamic terrorists may have been involved with it as well.

Nichols allegedly met with some Islamic terrorists in the Phillipines

(source a book by Jim Marrs)

I understand your premise, and living in a Red State, I have voted Blue. The problem is that my Democratic Senators vote more with Republicans than they do Democrats.

12.  First of all, we don't know who all the investors are
Second, I'm not sure if the democrats are simply complacent or co-conspirators, they certainly don't seem to make it much of an issue.

If the last part of your comment was directed at me, I have no clue as to what you are talking about.

13. I think the terrorists
have issues with us that far predate Bush. I think they would attack no matter who the President was.

But that doesn't mean we shouldn't get a President who could respond better.

Clark.
