I'm speechless.

It's sickening to listen to Tony Blair talk about this being just a few bad apples when you see about 10 involved in the beating and as many more casually looking on and listen to that corporal having orgasms as those poor kids are given a horrific beating.

How many other beatings of skinny little stone-throwing 10 year olds occurred that weren't filmed?

About 50% of Iraqis currently think attacks on Coalition soldiers is justified. Wonder what that number will jump to after this gets widely seen.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - Video images of British soldiers allegedly beating Iraqi youths with batons and fists aired throughout the Middle East and Britain on Sunday, outraging locals and prompting British Prime Minister Tony Blair to vow a full investigation. The tape was obtained by the News of the World tabloid newspaper from a whistleblower it did not identify. The footage purportedly shows a street confrontation in which Iraqi youths throw objects at British soldiers and then flee down the street. The cameraman provides narration and urges the soldiers on.

The soldiers apparently chase the Iraqis, catch at least three and drag them through a gate into a fenced in areas, according to the footage. The civilians are then pulled to the ground and beaten by at least five alleged British soldiers with batons and fists.

One of the civilians has his shirt ripped off.

The footage then shows what appears to be another group of soldiers dragging in another civilian and beating him with batons.

I remember someone posted a link to a video of two soldiers (American) going on a route and they pass by at least two/three little kids (I'd say maybe seven to nine) and the little kids were throwing rocks at the vehical and you could tell they were mad and this one guy was screaming obsceneties to them and saying how he wouldn't give them food unless they stopped. He than kept saying how they should be thanking them for their freedom instead of fighting them and called them name's and said he'd like to shoot them. :(

British Soldiers Filmed Beating Iraqis (Video)

The Ministry of Defence has launched an investigation into a video which allegedly shows British soldiers brutally beating a group of young Iraqis.
The film, which was reported in a Sunday newspaper, shows the troops repeatedly kicking, punching and striking civilians with batons.
The newspaper said the footage was filmed during street riots in Basra in 2004 by a corporal who can be heard laughing and encouraging his colleagues in a running commentary.

"We are aware of these very serious allegations and can confirm they are now the subject of an urgent Royal Military Police investigation," a Ministry of Defence spokesman said.

"We condemn all acts of abuse and brutality and always treat any allegations of wrongdoing extremely seriously."

According to the News of the World, the video shows the troops dragging four young protesters off a street and into an army compound.

The cameraman is said to be heard laughing and saying: "Oh yes! Oh Yes! You're gonna get it. Yes, naughty little boys. You little f***ers, you little f***ers. Die. Ha Ha."

The tape shows a minute's worth of the attack - with 42 blows counted, according to the newspaper. The footage also allegedly shows a British soldier twice kicking a dead Iraqi in the face.

The commentry was more unbelievable than the imagary, IMO. I've realised for many years that the Iraqi people have been subjected to wanton violence from the hands of people who supposedly represent you and I and as a British subject I've long accepted that the British army is populated by murderous bullies and other knucklescrapers but I wasn't prepared for a running commentary from someone who could only be described as a psychopath.

You're absolutely correct, the commentary was disgusting.
